Our client is a leading payments company dedicated to transforming the payment landscape by providing a riskfree and empowering payment solution. This is a senior executivelevel position reporting directly to the CSuite necessitated by phenomenal growth. You will have full ownership and autonomy to lead and develop both the merchant and consumer sides of our bestinclass payments product. This organisation has won multiple awards and is leading the field. This position will suit an innovative strategic thought leader who enjoys R&D and being part of a winning team.
What you will be doing:
- Come up with and promote a product vision and strategy that works with and improves the companys overall goals.
- Create and maintain a product roadmap that prioritises key features sets timelines and makes the best use of resources for product development.
- Oversee the entire product lifecycle from idea generation concept testing and development to launch and postlaunch improvement.
- Build lead and inspire a highperforming product team fostering a culture of innovation collaboration and excellence.
- Work closely with teams from different areas including engineering design marketing sales and others to ensure alignment and smooth product delivery.
- Conduct and use market research user feedback and competitive analysis to find opportunities and inform strategic product decisions.
- Lead successful product launches and drive adoption partnering with marketing and sales to develop and execute impactful gotomarket strategies.
- Keep an eye on product performance finding areas for improvement and optimisation.
- Be a key communicator and influencer engaging with stakeholders at all levels and ensuring the fun innovative teamdriven company culture is strengthened and sustained.
What is needed:
- A relevant tertiary qualification is a big plus
- You need at least 12 years experience leading product teams and a proven history of successful B2C products and you know how B2B works.
- Experience in payments or fintech is a must.
- You need to have built and led successful product teams and launched B2C products that people actually use. Deep technical skills will make you stand out.
- You need to be a strategic thinker who can create a product vision and roadmap that helps the company grow and change.
- You need expert knowledge of how to manage B2C and B2B products.
- You need strong technical skills and the ability to work with engineering and development teams.
- Youre passionate about customers and committed to giving them a great experience.
- Youre datadriven and can use data to make product decisions and measure success.
- You have outstanding communication interpersonal and leadership skills and can influence and inspire everyone in the company.
- Youre a problemsolver who can handle tough situations.
- You have executive presence and can represent the company at events and with key stakeholders.
