Job Description
Visa Direct is looking for driven students to join and support the Product team on strategic money movement initiative. Visa Direct is an exciting payment solution that Visa provides to clients to facilitate a fast & frictionless money movement around the world.
The ideal candidate is a highly analytical individual with previous business experience.
Responsibilities:
- Support the product team in strategic initiatives and projects related to our Visa Direct expansion and other initiatives and projects within the Product team.
- Support Visas internal and clientfacing teams by helping to develop reporting sales materials toolkits and training materials facilitate the organization of materials for easy access.
- Develop deep understanding of the Visa Direct use cases and conduct industry research and identify internal and external data resources to create custom analytics to map individual use case verticals and the opportunities they represent.
- Collaborate with the Visa Direct Market Delivery teams on the development and commercialization of new and enhanced Visa Direct payment use cases.
- Manage moderately complex assignments that are diverse in scope and search out appropriate courses of action.
Qualifications :
- Students pursuing a Bachelors or Masters Degree in Business Administration Commerce Finance Economics Statistics Engineering or IT with a graduation date in in 2026 (Finish coursework by Dec 2025)
- Be available in Johannesburg to pursue a 3month winter internship (3 June 2025 to 28 August 2025)
- Must be available to join a fulltime role by January 2026
- Must be a current student at the time of internship finishing course work at the end of 2025
- Citizenship: South African national requirement
- Excellent communication storytelling and presentation skills
- Strong PowerPoint and excel skills are desired
- Superior analytical and financial analysis skills
- Strong collaboration skills with a diverse peer group required
- Able to articulate viewpoint effectively to key stakeholders in order to get buy in and agreement
- Selfconfident and handson with the ability to operate in a fast paced and constantly changing work environment
