Job Description:
Based at our flagship property the IT Manager will oversee all aspects of ICT operations and infrastructure. This position involves providing strategic and operational IT support while ensuring that the organisation s technology systems are secure efficient and aligned with business goals. The role also includes supporting additional locations within the portfolio as needed.
Your daily adventures include:
Technology and Compliance:
- Ensure the smooth operation of ICT systems and network infrastructure.
- Implement the IT strategy to align with organisational goals.
- Identify opportunities to apply technology to optimise departmental performance.
- Maintain security and integrity across all IT systems and hardware.
- Liaise with service providers and manage IT vendor agreements.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans.
- Lead IT projects ensuring timely and effective implementation.
CustomerCentric Technology:
- Provide handson support for internal users across hardware and software platforms.
- Address and resolve guestrelated IT requirements efficiently.
- Collaborate with management to address ICT needs that enhance operations and guest experiences.
Cost Management:
- Monitor and control departmental costs within approved budgets.
- Negotiate vendor agreements to optimise value.
- Track and evaluate system performance to ensure service standards.
Leadership and Collaboration:
- Lead mentor and appraise the IT team to foster a culture of excellence.
- Provide effective training to internal users on IT systems.
- Conduct periodic performance reviews and implement development plans.
Requirements
What it takes to succeed:
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a leadership role preferably within the hospitality sector.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Effective communication and stakeholder engagement abilities.
- Proven experience with network infrastructure hardware and software systems.
- High standards of professionalism and integrity.
- Availability to travel as needed.
