Job Description

Black & Grey HR has partnered with a premier real estate development company in KSA. Our client is seeking a seasoned Chief Legal Officer (CLO) to oversee and manage all legal aspects of the organization. This strategic leadership role involves providing expert legal guidance on corporate governance compliance contracts intellectual property litigation and public policy matters. The CLO ensures the organization operates within legal frameworks counsels on legal rights and obligations and drives ethical practices while mitigating risks.

The ideal candidate is a forwardthinking legal professional with a strong track record of leadership exceptional analytical skills and the ability to navigate complex legal landscapes in a dynamic and fastpaced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide executive leadership and direction on all legal matters including contracts compliance litigation and corporate governance.
Represent the organization s legal interests in dealings with external stakeholders regulators and legal authorities.
Develop and implement policies and procedures to manage legal risks ensure ethical practices and uphold regulatory compliance.
Draft review and negotiate a broad spectrum of legal documents and contracts with clients partners suppliers and employees.
Monitor and adapt to changes in laws and regulations recommending proactive strategies to address emerging legal challenges.
Guide corporate governance practices ensuring statutory and regulatory compliance and advise on corporate secretarial functions.
Collaborate with the board of directors and senior leadership to assess the legal implications of corporate strategies and decisions.
Lead mentor and manage the legal team fostering a highperformance culture and promoting professional development.
Oversee litigation matters manage external legal resources and develop costeffective strategies for dispute resolution.


Requirements


Master s degree in Law (LLM or equivalent) is required.
At least 9 years of legal experience including significant time in a leadership role preferably within a corporate legal department.
Indepth knowledge of the Real Estate sector including industryspecific laws and regulations.
Proven expertise in contract management risk assessment compliance and legal negotiations.
Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate effectively across all levels of the organization.
Strong organizational and decisionmaking abilities with a strategic mindset to drive business goals through legal insight.
