Job Description
Deliverables: Strategic Business Analysis and Technical Expertise.
- Planning scoping and development of an inyear TB/MB business case to seek approval project/funding approval.
- Engagement with IO for options analysis and assessment.
Key Responsibilities:
- The consultant will provide strategic advice and technical expertise on Data Centre infrastructure services in order to facilitate the development of any(RFBs) for a variety of Data Centre technologies and architecture delivered based on the client s service specifications standards policies best practices and cost models. This will include the drafting of strategic documents presentations financial models.
- The Resource will lead the business requirements ofany RFBs through working with various Government stakeholder groups to accomplish a successful RFB outcome.
- The Resource will also develop materials in line with the OPS service delivery processes infrastructure policies procedures and direction cost models and established procurement processes.
- This Resource will incorporate I&IT information mandates strategic plans I&IT environment and standards into the materials.
Requirements
Experience and Skill Set Requirements
In depth knowledge of Data Centre Infrastructure Technology and Architecture
Parameters:
- Demonstrated 10 years experience working for at an Enterprise level in a technical or business capacity with experience in n Tiered Data Centre Networks and TierIV Data Centre environments.
Experience developing business case documentation for DC related board submissions
Parameters:
- Demonstrated 8 years preparing/developing and responding to questions for treasury board submissions and related business planning for government complex Enterprise Data Centres hosted in a certified TierIV Data Centre environment.
Experience analyzing and evaluating service delivery models for Data Centres
Parameters:
- Demonstrated 10 years preparing business case assessments related to service delivery models related to modernizing cloud and complex data center environment.
Must Haves:
- Experience with deploying applications in tier4 data center most important
- Experience with cloud environment and data center and technical design and reengineering and modernizing for cloud environment.
- Experience with government treasury board and business cases
