1. Lead and direct the overall operations of the distribution center ensuring alignment with strategic objectives.
2. Develop and implement best practices and strategies to improve warehouse operations logistics and inventory management.
3. Provide leadership and mentorship to the team fostering a highperformance culture.
4. Collaborate with other senior management to optimize the endtoend supply chain.
Operations Management:
1. Oversee the daytoday distribution center activities including receiving warehousing picking packing and shipping.
2. Ensure accurate inventory management minimal stock outs and reduction of excess stock.
3. Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess operational performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
4. Ensure compliance with all health safety and regulatory requirements within the distribution center.
Process Improvement & Efficiency:
1. Analyze and optimize workflows to ensure the timely and efficient delivery of products.
2. Implement new technologies and automation systems to enhance operational efficiencies.
3. Identify and resolve bottlenecks in the supply chain and distribution process.
4. Manage costs and budgets for the distribution center and identify areas for costsaving opportunities.
Team Development & Staff Management:
1. Build and manage a skilled and motivated team of warehouse and logistics personnel.
2. Conduct regular performance reviews provide ongoing coaching and create career development opportunities for staff.
3. Promote a culture of safety teamwork and continuous improvement within the workforce.
Stakeholder Management:
1. Work closely with procurement sales and customer service teams to ensure seamless operations.
2. Develop and maintain relationships with external partners including thirdparty logistics providers to ensure effective and timely product distribution.
3. Liaise with senior management and report on operational performance challenges and improvements.
Quality Control & Compliance:
1. Ensure that all products meet quality standards and are handled in compliance with company policies.
2. Regularly review operational processes and work to eliminate inefficiencies risks and errors.
3. Ensure compliance with all relevant local state and international distribution regulations and standards.
Bachelor s degree in Business Administration Logistics Supply Chain Management or related field.
At least 810 years of experience in distribution logistics or operations management with a minimum of 35 years in a leadership role.
Strong knowledge of supply chain management warehouse operations and logistics.
Proven ability to manage large teams and multiple stakeholders across a complex operational environment.
Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to make datadriven decisions.
Strong communication interpersonal and leadership skills.
Experience with warehouse management software (WMS) and other supply chain tools.
Knowledge of safety and regulatory standards related to warehousing and logistics.
MBA or other relevant advanced degree.
Lean or Six Sigma certification.
Experience in the FMCG industry or with largescale distribution operations.
