One of our clients is seeking experienced Security Architect IV to create System Security Plans (SSPs) for suppliers and enterprise applications. The role involves conducting interviews with business units analyzing responses to security controls and ensuring compliance with COV SEC530 based on NIST 80053 standards.
This critical contractor role requires strong technical expertise a collaborative mindset and a deep understanding of security and compliance requirements. The selected candidate will play a key part in protecting the organization s sensitive data and infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business units to gather information and create comprehensive SSPs.
- Conduct interviews with stakeholders to understand system components operations and security requirements.
- Evaluate responses to security control questions and identify gaps or areas requiring remediation.
- Ensure systems meet compliance requirements outlined in COV SEC530 and NIST 80053.
- Document security measures risk assessments and system vulnerabilities.
- Recommend risk mitigation strategies and implement security improvements.
- Support ongoing compliance and security efforts for enterprise applications and supplier systems.
