Job Description
- Manage production for ontime delivery revenue and profitability while meeting quality and safety requirements.
- Responsible for achieving department goals such as revenue/shipment operator productivity product quality safety requirements or any other department goals.
- Manage Operator production activities provide direction and support for all work shifts establish work schedules and assignments and when necessary work through other supervisors or managers.
- Manage material planning expediting incoming material deficiencies etc. all as necessary to achieve department goals while interacting and supporting other departments involved in this process.
- Support all company system and quality requirements that drive cost saving initiatives efficiency gains process improvements labor utilization and improvements in quality and yield rates.
- Work with sales department and business development personnel for any sales requirements like pricing delivery scheduling device development etc. all while achieving a high level of internal and external customer satisfaction.
- Interact with engineering and support personnel for product development and product documentation such as BOM s Routers Engineering changes etc. in a positive and supportive manner.
- Address employee concerns resolve problems train coach and discipline employees and make recommendations for hiring and firing.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree required
- 520 years experience in production operations
- Familiarity with MILSTD750 / 883 test specifications a plus
- Experience with SPC lean manufacturing SixSigma TRB FMEA AS9100 etc. and other quality methodologies a plus
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel and PowerPoint.
- Highly organized and detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fastpaced environment.
- Welldeveloped organizational and interpersonal skills. A selfstarter and selfmotivated individual with a positive attitude and motivational influence on the team and organization.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills and ability to communicate professionally at all times while coaching and training others.

5-20 years experience in production operations Familiarity with MIL-STD-750 / 883 test specifications a plus Experience with SPC, lean manufacturing, Six-Sigma, TRB, FMEA, AS9100, etc. and other quality methodologies a plus Proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel and PowerPoint. Highly organized and detail oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. Well-developed organizational and inter-personal skills. A self-starter and self-motivated individual with a positive attitude and motivational influence on the team and organization. Effective communication and teamwork skills and ability to communicate professionally at all times, while coaching and training others.
