Job Description
This is a remote position.
mDoc is a digital health social enterprise that leverages behavioral science technology and quality improvement methodologies to improve access to quality healthcare for individuals with chronic health needs. Role Overview
The Product Designer / UI/UX Specialist will be responsible for crafting intuitive and visually engaging designs that enhance user experiences across mDoc s digital platforms. This role combines usercentered design principles with a strong understanding of healthcare workflows to create innovative solutions. The ideal candidate will work collaboratively with product managers developers and stakeholders to design seamless and accessible digital experiences that meet the needs of our diverse user base.
Key Responsibilities
User Research & Insights
- Conduct user research through interviews surveys and usability testing to understand user needs and pain points.
- Analyze user feedback and behavior to drive iterative design processes and enhance usability.

UI/UX Design
- Create wireframes prototypes and highfidelity mockups for web and mobile applications.
- Design intuitive user interfaces that align with mDoc s brand guidelines and accessibility standards (e.g. WCAG).
- Collaborate with developers to ensure seamless implementation of designs.

Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with product managers developers and stakeholders to translate business requirements into userfriendly designs.
- Advocate for user needs at every stage of the product development process.

Design Systems & Consistency
- Develop and maintain design systems ensuring consistency across all digital products.
- Ensure scalability and adaptability of design systems to accommodate future product enhancements.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation
- Stay updated on UI/UX trends tools and best practices to incorporate into designs.
- Identify opportunities to enhance user experiences and integrate cuttingedge design techniques.

Requirements
Qualifications
- Bachelor s degree in Design HumanComputer Interaction or related fields (or equivalent work experience).
- 3 5 years of experience in product design UI/UX design or a similar role.
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma Adobe XD Sketch or similar platforms.
- Strong understanding of usercentered design principles information architecture and accessibility standards.
Preferred Skills
- Familiarity with frontend development technologies (e.g. HTML CSS JavaScript) to facilitate collaboration with developers.
- Experience designing for healthcare or health tech products is a plus.
- Strong communication and storytelling skills to present design concepts and solutions effectively.
- Knowledge of design systems and style guides for creating scalable digital experiences.

Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud infrastructure, or security roles. Strong proficiency with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure. Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, configuration management, and monitoring solutions. Solid understanding of security principles, including encryption, authentication, and access control. Preferred Skills Certifications such as AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA). Experience with container orchestration tools like Kubernetes or Docker Swarm. Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell. Familiarity with healthcare compliance standards, such as HIPAA or HL7.
