Job Description

Job Title: Zonal Head Stock Broking

Department: Sales & Distribution

Reports To: Head of Sales

Location: Delhi

About the Role:

The Zonal Head will be responsible for leading and managing a team of Branch Managers/Relationship Managers within a designated zone to achieve revenue and profitability targets. This role requires a strong understanding of the stock broking industry excellent leadership and team management skills and a proven track record of success in driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Revenue & Profitability:
    • Drive revenue and profitability within the assigned zone by achieving and exceeding sales targets for various products and services offered by the brokerage firm (e.g. trading investment advisory etc.).
    • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and develop effective sales strategies.
    • Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as revenue per client client acquisition cost and customer lifetime value.
    • Implement costeffective measures to optimize profitability.
  • Team Management:
    • Recruit hire train and mentor a highperforming team of Branch Managers/Relationship Managers.
    • Set clear performance goals provide regular feedback and conduct performance reviews.
    • Motivate and inspire the team to achieve their full potential.
    • Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
    • Address team challenges and resolve conflicts effectively.
  • Business Development:
    • Develop and implement strategic plans to expand market share and penetrate new customer segments.
    • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through partnerships alliances and other strategic initiatives.
    • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including clients channel partners and industry associations.
    • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify emerging trends and opportunities.
  • Client Management:
    • Oversee client relationship management activities within the zone.
    • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
    • Address client concerns and resolve issues promptly and effectively.
    • Conduct regular client outreach programs to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Compliance & Risk Management:
    • Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.
    • Monitor and mitigate risks associated with sales and business operations.
    • Implement and maintain robust internal controls.

Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Bachelors degree in Finance Business Administration or a related field.
  • 810 years of experience in the stock broking industry with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
  • Proven track record of success in achieving sales and revenue targets.
  • Strong leadership team management and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
  • Proficiency in using CRM and other relevant software.
  • NISM certifications (preferred)

Qualifications and Experience: Bachelor s degree in finance, Economics, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of experience in risk management, preferably in the financial services industry. Strong understanding of financial markets, risk metrics, and regulatory frameworks. Proficiency in risk management software and tools. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Desired Skills: Certification in risk management (e.g., FRM, CERA). Experience working with regulatory bodies like SEBI. Knowledge of RMS and data analysis & automation.
