We are searching for a US CPA Accountant to join our dynamic team and play a crucial role in providing essential support to ensure smooth operations and success.

Position Details:
- Job Type: Freelance Fulltime (42 hours/week). Responsible for government mandatories (Tax and other mandates)
- Schedule: 4 days work week with 3 consecutive days off (between 10 pm12:30 pm Manila time)
- Location: Onsite in Quezon City Eastwood
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review U.S. individual and business tax returns (FormsS and 1065).
- Ensure compliance with U.S. tax regulations while identifying opportunities for tax optimization.
- Provide exceptional client service as a primary point of contact addressing accounting and financial inquiries.
- Assist with payroll processing and ensure accurate payroll tax filings
- Stay updated on U.S. tax laws and industry regulations to ensure compliance and provide proactive guidance.
- Work with and manage our bookkeeper to prepare and process accounts payable and receivable including invoicing and reconciliations in compliance with U.S. accounting standards.
- Maintain general ledger and subledger accounts ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data in accordance with both U.S. and Philippine accounting practices.
- Assist in the preparation of monthly and annual financial statements including income statements balance sheets and cash flow statements adhering to U.S. GAAP.
- Perform bank reconciliations and manage cash flow ensuring effective liquidity management across both jurisdictions.
- Support the monthend and yearend close processes ensuring timely and accurate reporting for both U.S. and Philippine entities.
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards policies and regulations including federal and state requirements in the U.S. and local laws in the Philippines.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to provide financial insights and support business decisionmaking utilizing knowledge of both U.S. and Philippine accounting frameworks.
Requirements
What were looking for
- Bachelor s degree in Accounting or a related field.
- CPA license or equivalent credentials.
- Proven experience in U.S. tax accounting ideally with a public accounting firm.
- Expertise in preparing U.S. tax returns (FormsS and 1065).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Zoho Books and/or QuickBooks Desktop/Online.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. tax regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with complex financial data.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with U.S.based clients and team members remotely.
- Selfmotivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
- Commitment to delivering exceptional client service and building strong relationships.
Preferred but not required:
- Same knowledge for Philippines Accounting laws and regulations for filing in the Philippines.
