Job Description
As an Intake Screener you ll be the first point of contact for potential healthcare customers playing a crucial role in our client s lead qualification process. You ll handle inbound calls generated from targeted online advertisements using your excellent communication skills to prequalify leads efficiently and effectively. Responsibilities
- Answer inbound calls promptly and professionally representing our client s brand with enthusiasm and expertise
- Follow a carefully crafted script to prequalify leads efficiently ensuring a smooth and positive experience for every caller
- Conduct warm transfers of qualified leads to healthcare agencies maintaining a seamless transition and setting the stage for successful conversions
- Maintain a friendly empathetic and professional demeanor throughout all calls even in challenging situations
- Adhere strictly to HIPAA compliance standards safeguarding sensitive health information at all times
- Collaborate with team members to share best practices and continuously improve our qualification process
- Participate in regular training sessions to enhance your skills and stay updated on healthcare industry trends
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills in English with a clear and friendly phone manner
- Proven experience in customer service and sales roles preferably in a call center environment
- Demonstrated ability to follow scripts while maintaining a natural conversation flow
- Basic understanding of healthcare terminology and the ability to learn quickly
- Proficiency in using CRM systems and call center software
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fastpaced environment
- Flexibility to work fulltime hours typically from 9:30 AM to 6:00 or 7:00 PM Eastern Time
- High school diploma required; associate s or bachelor s degree preferred
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to HIPAA regulations
- Ability to meet or exceed performance metrics including handling 2030 inbound calls per day and achieving target qualification rates
