Salesforce Developer

This is a remote position.

The Internal Salesforce Developer will be responsible for designing developing and deploying tailored Salesforce solutions to meet the needs of our legal operations. This role involves collaborating closely with various stakeholders to enhance workflows improve automation and ensure the Salesforce platform aligns with business objectives.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Platform Development:
   

• Customise and configure Salesforce to meet business requirements including custom objects workflows validation rules and approval processes.
  

• Develop and maintain Apex classes triggers Visualforce pages and Lightning Web Components (LWCs).
  

1. System Integration:
   

• Integrate Salesforce with other internal systems and thirdparty applications using APIs and middleware solutions.
  

• Ensure data integrity and synchronisation across platforms.
  

1. Process Automation:
   

• Design and implement process automations using Salesforce Flow Zapier and Power Automate and other tools to improve efficiency.
  

1. Maintenance & Support:
   

• Perform regular system updates data audits and security reviews.
  

• Troubleshoot and resolve issues promptly.
  

• Provide training and technical support to internal users.
  

1. Best Practices & Documentation:
   

• Ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices and coding standards.
  

• Maintain detailed documentation of processes configurations and customisations.a
  

Requirements

EXPERIENCE:

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Salesforce Developer with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
  

• Strong experience in developing and customising Salesforce solutions within the Sales Cloud Service Cloud and/or Experience Cloud (formerly Communities).
  

• Experience with Salesforce development tools and technologies including Apex Visualforce Lightning Web Components (LWC) SOQL SOSL and Salesforce APIs.
  

• Experience with Salesforce administration tasks such as user management security profiles and data management.
  

• Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision taking ownership of tasks and delivering results.
  

• Experience with Salesforce automation tools like Process Builder Flow and Workflow Rules.
  

• Experience with data migration and integration between Salesforce and other systems including Zapier.
  

• Experience in troubleshooting and resolving Salesforce issues.
  

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders.
  

SKILLS:

• Strong understanding of Salesforce platform architecture and best practices.
  

• Proficiency in Apex programming language for developing custom applications and integrations.
  

• Expertise in Visualforce and Lightning Web Components (LWC) for building user interfaces.
  

• Proficiency in SOQL and SOSL for querying and manipulating data within Salesforce.
  

• Experience with Salesforce APIs for integrating with external systems.
  

• Strong problemsolving and analytical skills.
  

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  

CERTIFICATIONS / QUALIFICATIONS:

• Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I and II are highly desirable.
  

• Salesforce Certified Administrator is a plus.
  

• Salesforce Certified App Builder is a plus.
  

• Any relevant Salesforce certifications related to specific clouds or features (e.g. Service Cloud Consultant Sales Cloud Consultant Experience Cloud Consultant) would be advantageous.
  

• A bachelors degree in computer science or a related field is preferred.
