Job Description

Join Sodexo: Lead Retail Operations in an Expanding National Portfolio!

Sodexo a global leader in food services and facilities management is excited to announce a new opportunity for a Retail Business Manager to join our growing team! With over 30 years of excellence in serving the Energy & Resources sector across Australia we are expanding our National Retail portfolio and looking for a dynamic individual to help us continue our journey of growth and success.

As a Retail Business Manager you will be at the helm of retail operations across our client sites driving innovative merchandising solutions optimizing profitability and ensuring exceptional customer experiences at newly acquired client sites. This role offers autonomy and the chance to make a real impact in a fastpaced evolving environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the creation of eyecatching and effective merchandise displays to elevate the customer experience
  • Oversee compliance with company policies procedures and all relevant regulations
  • Manage customer inquiries and complaints ensuring a high level of customer service
  • Collaborate with regional management to execute companywide initiatives and promotions
  • Implement retail standards that reflect local market conditions and ensure pricing accuracy
  • Ensure timely deliveries and compliance with legislation at all sites
  • Integrate with onsite teams providing support for prestart and toolbox meetings
  • Maintain optimal inventory levels and minimize shrinkage

What Were Looking For:

  • 35 years of proven retail management experience ideally in FMCG at store management level
  • Strong ability to work autonomously with resilience and resourcefulness
  • Exceptional business relationshipbuilding skills and the ability to inspire and motivate teams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
  • Demonstrated track record of delivering growth and improving store performance
  • Analytical thinking with strong problemsolving skills
  • Uptodate knowledge of retail industry trends and best practices
  • Experience with Point of Sale (POS) systems and Microsoft Office Suite
  • Flexibility to work variable hours including regular remote site travel
