Overview:
- We seek a skilled 2nd Shift Maintenance Electrician to support daily production activities by installing diagnosing repairing and maintaining electrical equipment in a manufacturing environment.
- The successful candidate will ensure all tasks are performed safely efficiently and accurately to uphold and improve plant performance.
Responsibilities:
- Install diagnose and repair electrical systems apparatus and industrial machinery components.
- Plan and install power supply wiring and conduit for machines including palletizers conveyors and programmable controllers.
- Test and adjust electronic components and wiring ensuring equipment meets specifications.
- Troubleshoot and repair production and facility equipment for optimal efficiency.
- Maintain and organize the maintenance area ensuring cleanliness and order.
- Utilize maintenance systems to complete daily weekly and monthly duties.
- Operate material handling equipment safely.
- Document work order completion in maintenance systems.
- Support predictive and preventative maintenance programs.
- Actively participate in plant initiatives and support continuous improvement efforts.
- Perform safety observations and support SQF 2000 Systems development.
- Uphold Kroger Manufacturing Food Safety and Quality Principles.
- Complete other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- 2 4 years of maintenance electrician experience.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints electrical schematics and parts specifications.
- Flexible with work hours including overtime weekends and holidays.
- Comfortable working in fastpaced noisy environments with chemical exposure.
- Strong communication attention to detail planning and organizational skills.
- Selfmotivated and capable of working independently to meet deadlines.
Physical Requirements:
- Regularly stand walk sit bend squat reach push/pull and handle objects.
- Lift/move up to 50 pounds frequently and occasionally up to 100 pounds.
- Work in varying temperatures and noise levels.
