TITLE: Lead Business Analyst
REPORTING TO: Program Manager
WORKING LOCATION: Bangalore India
The Role: The position shall manage the group of Business Analysts/Functional Analysts/Product owners and ensuring that project meets organizational goals. Here are some key responsibilities.
- Team Leadership and Management:
- Leading and mentoring a team of business analysts.
- Conducting performance reviews and providing feedback.
- Facilitating professional development and training opportunities.
- Project Oversight:
- Ensuring that business analysis activities align with project goals and timelines.
- Coordinating with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure successful project delivery.
- Managing resource allocation and workload distribution among business analysts.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Acting as a liaison between business analysts and other departments.
- Facilitating communication and collaboration among stakeholders.
- Gathering and prioritizing business requirements from stakeholders.
- Process Improvement:
- Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Developing and maintaining best practices and standards for business analysis.
- Ensuring compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
- Support Analysis Activities:
- Working closely with the Product Owner/Business Analyst to understand the business objectives and the requirements of the proposed solution.
- Analyzing and decomposing complex requirements.
- Providing crossfunctional support to other departments as required and help with troubleshooting of production issues to help with quicker resolution.
- Quality Assurance:
- Reviewing and approving business analysis deliverables.
- Ensuring the quality and accuracy of requirements documentation.
- Conducting risk assessments and mitigation planning.
REQUIRED PROFILE:
Type and duration of previous experience:
- 12 years in an IT environment preferably in an industrial or processdriven environment
- At least 34 years experience in managing projects including resource allocation and timeline management.
- Good business understanding to facilitate discussions from top managers to endusers.
Specific skills required:
- Strong and proven background in Information Technology.
- Experience as a Business Analyst
- Experience in writing Functional Specification Documents
- Experience in creating Business process models specifications diagrams and charts to provide direction to developers and/or the project team.
- Capacity to conceptualize creative solutions document and sell solutions to all levels of the organization including senior management.
- Ability to solve practical problems define cause and effect map dependencies in the process
- Organized detailoriented analytical curious with demonstrated troubleshooting and investigation skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks multitask with organization and manage time effectively.
- Strong customer focus and ability to manage (internal or external) client expectations.
- Contribute to process mapping in a range of functional dependencies including operations purchasing inventory distribution equipment data management quality systems and facilities
- Ability to work independently with limited oversight in a complex global environment.
- Prior experience in product testing industry and web applications is preferred.
