Job Description
Product Litigation Associate Attorney Chicago
A nationally recognized law firm seeks a MidLevel Associate Attorney to join its Product Liability team in Indianapolis Chicago or Madison. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fastpaced national litigation practice handling complex highstakes cases. This is a partnership track position.
Qualifications and Experience
- 59 years of experience in federal and state civil litigation preferably in products liability defense but other similar practice areas will be considered
- Strong experience handling all aspects of a civil case including:
- Fact and expert discovery
- Drafting and arguing procedural evidentiary and dispositive motions
- Participation in court conferences hearings and trials
- Fact and expert discovery
- Excellent academic credentials and strong organizational skills
- Enthusiasm for client service and a passion for litigation
- A commitment to career advancement with a clear path to partnership
- Firm has an 1850 annual billing hourly requirement
- Promotes a friendly firm culture
- Strategic risk management to minimize litigation exposure while ensuring strong defense strategies when litigation arises
- Rapid and targeted response to product recalls and liability concerns
- Highly skilled trial attorneys with extensive courtroom experience and technical knowledge across industries

The firm s Product Liability practice has represented manufacturers distributors insurers and other clients across a wide range of industries including:

- Food beverage and pharmaceutical
Estimated Compensation
Estimated total compensation ranges from $200000 to $225000 depending on billable hours bonus structure client development efforts and other performancebased factors.
