Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Design implement and continuously expand data pipelines by performing extraction transformation and loading activities.
- Required to translate technical systems specifications into working tested applications.
- This includes develop new academic year applications with cloudnative technologies maintain and support existing applications on different hosting environments

- Analytical and problemsolving skills to identify and resolve existing and potential systems issues.
- Consultation interpersonal and teamwork skills to discuss client requirements lead discussions of system development options and technical process and to work effectively with colleagues and clients.
- A team player with a track record for meeting deadlines
- Experience in providing technical leadership & guidance to junior developers.
Requirements
Experience and Skill Set Requirements:
Must Haves:
- 10 years of Experience in ntier webbased applications database technologies software tools and Java EE (J2EE) technologies
- Experience in complex programming concepts and languages JSF Spring MyBatis and Hibernate ORM Framework Microservices
- Experience knowledge and skills in largescale system analysis design and implementation for multiclient use with AODA compliance
Nice to have:
- Experience in migrating application to Azure cloud and using DevOps
Skill Set Requirements:
Programmer and Development Skills:
- Experience in systems design configuration integration and development IT security programming concepts languages and related methods techniques practices and standards such as JAVA J2EE JSF HTML/DHTML XML/XSL iText and Microservice.
- Hands on experience in ntier webbased application development using Oracle database.
- Development experience using emerging technologies such as Web Services web responsive frontend development AODA compliant solutions.
- Experience in using open source software such as Spring myBatis Bootstrap jQuery
- Experience using reporting tools such as Jasper and Crystal Reports
- Demonstrated experience directly supporting the SDLC (agile/iterative) and implementation of businesscritical software applications and systems.
- Experience in writing application architecture and data modelling artifacts for the development and customization of large webbased applications
- Knowledge of Jrules Oracle content management system and docker WebSphere application server
- Hands on experience with azure cloud AKS WebSphere liberty or open liberty and DevOps tool chain (Nice to have)
OPS Experience:
- Experience with Public sector architecture methodologies and GO ITS standards would be an asset.
- Familiar with Public sector Threat Risk Assessment (TRA) and Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) process
