Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial plastering and carpentry with extensive knowledge of plastering trades. This role is crucial for managing our highend commercial projects from start to finish ensuring quality efficiency and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee commercial fitout projects including walls ceilings bulkheads trims doors frames skirtings and external cladding/soffits.
- Lead a crew of 10 employees and coordinate with two sets of contractors.
- Work closely with our estimator admin and accounts team.
- Ensure projects are completed on time within budget and to the highest standards.
- Handle seismic design rondo designs and technical framing design issues.
- Install as per manufacturer guidelines finding costeffective solutions.
- Occasionally assist onsite to ensure proper decisionmaking and problemsolving.
Requirements
- Proven experience in commercial plastering and carpentry.
- Strong knowledge of plastering trades and technical framing design.
- Ability to manage large projects or multiple smaller projects independently.
- Experience with seismic design and rondo designs is essential.
- Excellent decisionmaking and problemsolving skills.
- Ability to work effectively both onsite and remotely using a laptop.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
