What you will be doing:
- Lead software engineers in an Agile Scrum environment.
- Manage software engineers and programmers as well as one or two QA engineers.
- Provide technical coaching and performance feedback.
- Lead design and code reviews.
- Interview and hire new engineers to build an effective team.
- Be accountable for the software released to production.
Experience you will need:
- Several years of software development experience (C language is preferred).
- Experience working for a software company that develops software for sale.
- Strong people and project/program management skills.
- Experience with design and code reviews.
- A track record of improving software engineering processes mentoring and technical coaching.
- Experience in hiring and building a team.
- Storage experience is a significant plus.
- Experience in a small growing company.
- BS or MS degree in a technical discipline (CS CE EE Math etc.).
