Job Description

We are hiring a Medical Scientist Microbiology in a Private Hospital in Dublin Ireland.
Fulltime/Permanent
Responsibilities
- Help establish a Laboratory Service that meets the demands of healthcare professionals and patients while adhering to the Laboratorys purpose vision values and strategic plan.
- Collaborate with Consultant Microbiologists and Laboratory Management team to deliver highquality patient findings on time.
- Perform operational duties in a multidisciplinary laboratory/team.
- Adhere to the laboratorys management system and operate impartially and ethically.
- Maintain strict confidentiality when interacting with patients.
- Follow laboratory policies and ensure quality work.
- Contribute to and promote internal education and research initiatives.
- Promote professional growth for staff through selflearning official courses and onthejob training.
- Update and review department policies procedures and guidelines.
- Encourage effective communication within the team.
Requirements
- The post holder must have: include reference to CORU registration.
- Experience working in a clinical laboratory (e.g. clinical college placement).
- Experience working in all aspects of clinical microbiology in a hospital setting.
- Experience using QPulse
- Have experience working in clinical microbiology
