Tekberry is looking for a highly qualified and motivated Associate Logistics Technician to work onsite with our client a worldwide designer manufacturer and integrator of a precision control components company. This role supports the logistics department by performing essential stockroom and transport activities. This role supports the logistics department by performing essential stockroom inventory and transport activities. As a W2 employee you will have access to health benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Transport items between facilities using companyowned vehicles including a 20 box truck van and forklift.
- Handle shipping receiving order fulfillment inventory control and material movement.
- Maintain accurate stock balances conduct cycle counts and process inventory transactions.
- Execute inventory control processes including verification corrections and stock reconciliation.
- Coordinate with crossfunctional teams such as Program Analysts Engineers and Dispatch Personnel.
- Ensure proper packaging handling and ESD (ElectroStatic Discharge) standards compliance to prevent damage.
- Assist in training new employees and supporting stockroom operations as needed.
- Maintain an organized and clean stockroom environment.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in logistics inventory control or material handling.
- Strong proficiency in inventory tracking systems with a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to lift up to 65 lbs. and stand for long periods.
- Experience operating forklifts and box trucks preferred.
- Familiarity with proper packaging and handling techniques.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify deviations in standard practices.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
