Job Description
We are seeking a RN Unit Manager for a travel/contract position in PA. Accepting both local and traveler candidates.
Location: Skowhegan ME 04976
Pay Rate: $60/hr
Contract: 14 Weeks
Facility Type: Nursing/ Rehab/ Hospital
Shift: 8:00 AM 4:30 PM
Guarantee Hours: 40
Days: Mon Tue Wed Thu Fri
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage the daily operations of a specific unit within a healthcare facility including supervising nursing staff and coordinating patient care.
- Develop implement and evaluate patient care plans ensuring that care is delivered in accordance with facility policies procedures and regulatory standards.
- Conduct regular assessments of patient care needs and ensure that appropriate interventions and treatments are provided.
- Provide leadership and support to nursing staff including training mentoring and performance evaluations.
Requirements:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maine.
- Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN) or higher from an accredited program.
- Minimum of 35 years of clinical experience in a healthcare setting with at least 12 years in a supervisory or management role.
- Strong leadership organizational and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced and dynamic environment.
