Sales Director OffHighway & Truck Industry
Position Overview:
Our client is seeking an experienced and driven Director of Business Development to spearhead our growth initiatives within the offhighway and truck industry. The ideal candidate will have a robust background in sales and business development underscored by a proven track record of success within this niche market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute strategic plans to drive business expansion in the offhighway and truck industry.
- Identify and seize new business opportunities by building relationships with key decisionmakers and influencers in the sector.
- Maintain and enhance a strong network of industry contacts to support business development and collaborative opportunities.
- Lead and motivate the sales team to develop and implement effective sales strategies that surpass revenue goals.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the delivery of highquality services to our clients.
- Keep abreast of market trends and competitive activities to stay ahead in the industry.
- Craft and present compelling business proposals presentations and contracts to potential clients.
- Manage sales performance metrics providing comprehensive reports to senior management.
- Represent the company at industryspecific events conferences and trade shows to enhance brand recognition and promote services.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Marketing Engineering or a related field.
- A minimum of 10 years experience in sales and business development in engineering service industry specifically within the offhighway and truck industry.
- Looking for someone who has managed the clients like John Deere & Vermeer
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Deep understanding of the offhighway and truck industry and its major players.
- Exceptional communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and industry partners.
- Strong leadership abilities with experience in managing sales teams.
- Expert in strategic planning and execution.
- Willingness to travel as needed for client interactions and industryspecific events.
