Job Description:
We are seeking a Project/Release Manager to coordinate and manage all release activities for our Cross Border Shopping Program focusing on new country launches and capability rollouts across the EMEA and APAC regions. This role requires a proactive individual with exceptional organizational and tasktracking skills. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fastpaced global environment and possess the flexibility to adapt their schedule to accommodate meetings across time zones.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate crossfunctional release activities (technical and business) for new country launches and feature deployments.
- Act as the primary liaison between EMEA and APAC teams ensuring alignment on project deliverables.
- Develop and maintain detailed project plans tracking tasks milestones and deadlines.
- Facilitate communication among regional stakeholders addressing concerns and resolving issues proactively.
- Manage release timelines and ensure dependencies are clearly identified and managed.
- Organize and lead early morning or late afternoon meetings to accommodate regional stakeholders.
- Identify risks and propose mitigation strategies to keep projects on track.
- Provide regular status updates to leadership and key stakeholders.
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in project/release management preferably in a global or crossregional capacity.
- Strong organizational skills with a proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Exceptional followup and task tracking capabilities.
- Familiarity with release management processes and best practices.
- Experience working with international teams across multiple time zones.
- Proficiency with project management tools (e.g. Jira Trello MS Project).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Flexibility to work early mornings or late evenings as required.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in ecommerce or retail projects is a strong plus.
- Certifications in project management (e.g. PMP PSM) are desirable.
