Technical Program Manager Enterprise SaaS Transportation and Logistics Management System
Location: Atlanta GA (Hybrid)
Type: LongTerm Contract
Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and resultsdriven Technical Program Manager to lead the development and delivery of our Enterprise SaaS applications for Transportation and Logistics Management Systems (TMS). This role requires a combination of technical expertise extensive program management experience and a deep understanding of SaaS SDLC. The successful candidate will oversee the planning execution and deployment of software product releases ensuring alignment with PMO processes business priorities customer needs and organizational goals.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Program Management and Delivery:
- Manage all aspects of a $5M software product development program directing two Project Managers responsible for subprojects.
- Lead the endtoend planning and execution of complex technology projects within the SDLC ensuring timely and costeffective delivery of highquality features and solutions.
- Align roadmaps while managing risks and dependencies across delivery streams and portfolios.
- Under PMO guidance create and manage a crossfunctional program plan composed of subprojects ensuring successful execution within cost timeline and quality constraints.
Team Leadership:
- Coordinate with product management release IT marketing sales and support teams to ensure smooth transitions from project initiation to implementation and ongoing support.
- Manage multiple onshore and offshore Agile development teams fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior leadership stakeholders and resource teams to ensure successful delivery.
Metrics and Reporting:
- Use consistent metrics (Earned Value key delivery gates) to assess risks and prioritize decisionmaking processes.
- Provide regular status reports dashboards and meetings to stakeholders and resource teams demonstrating program progress and resource utilization.
Qualifications:
Experience:
- 8 years of handson experience managing complex technology projects with multiple development teams managing programs of $5M or more.
- Strong technical background preferably with experience in software engineering DevOps or IT project management.
- 5 years of experience in SDLC Scrum methodologies and scaled Agile practices.
- Highly organized with advanced problemsolving skills and proficiency in Excel MS Office and Smartsheet (including advanced reports and dashboards).
- Strong PowerPoint presentation skills for senior leadership.
- Expertise in project cost modeling capacity hours consumed and Project P/L using Earned Value concepts.
- Proficiency in managing program management in Jira MS Teams and Smartsheet.
Leadership Skills:
- Experience in managing onshore and offshore delivery models in an SAFe Agile environment.
- Proven ability to drive governance manage dependencies and optimize organizational delivery.
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with project sponsors technical project managers and crossfunctional teams.
- Strong coaching skills to align program performance with organizational goals.
Education:
- Minimum of 8 years of related experience with a bachelors degree or 6 years and a masters degree or equivalent experience as a Program Lead on technologybased portfolios.
- PMI PMP or SAFe Certification or equivalent Project Management Certification.
Preferred Experience:
- Direct experience managing freight movement intermodal transport or supply chain logistics.
- Experience in software architecture system integrations and cloudbased applications within an enterprise SaaS solution.
