Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead and manage complex technology projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and experience in managing crossfunctional teams. You will be responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered on time within scope and within budget while maintaining highquality standards.
Key Responsibilities
Project Planning: Define project scope goals deliverables and timelines in collaboration with stakeholders.
Team Management: Lead and manage project teams including developers QA engineers designers and other stakeholders ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals.
Technical Oversight: Provide technical guidance and support to the project team ensuring that technical solutions align with project objectives and industry best practices.
Resource Management: Allocate resources effectively and manage team workloads to ensure optimal productivity and project delivery.
Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to address them ensuring that projects remain on track.
Budget Management: Monitor project budgets and expenses ensuring that projects are delivered within the allocated budget.
Stakeholder Communication: Maintain regular communication with stakeholders providing updates on project progress risks and changes.
Quality Assurance: Ensure that all project deliverables meet quality standards and are aligned with client expectations.
Agile Methodology: Implement and manage Agile/Scrum methodologies to ensure efficient project execution.
Documentation: Maintain comprehensive project documentation including project plans schedules meeting notes and progress reports.
Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the project team fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Technical Expertise:
Strong technical background with experience in software development systems architecture or IT infrastructure.
Proficiency in project management tools such as JIRA Trello Asana or Microsoft Project.
Familiarity with Agile and Scrum methodologies including sprint planning backlog management and retrospectives.
Understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and IT operations.
Experience with cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure Google Cloud) is a plus.
Knowledge of DevOps practices CI/CD pipelines and version control systems (e.g. Git) is desirable.
Project Management Skills:
Proven experience in managing complex technology projects with multiple stakeholders.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
Solid understanding of budgeting forecasting and financial management.
Experience in risk management and mitigation strategies.
Soft Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve project goals.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering highquality results.
Adaptability and flexibility in managing changing project requirements and priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor s or Master s degree in Computer Science Engineering Information Technology or a related field.
Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) certification.
Experience in managing projects in a fastpaced Agile environment.
Experience in managing projects across multiple geographies and time zones.
Prior experience working in a software development or technology consulting firm.
