Job Description
Our client requires the services of a Software Engineer (Senior) Midrand/Menlyn/Rosslyn/Home Office rotation

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
- Degree/Diploma in IT and relevant experience.
- Qualification/Certification in frontend and backend development technologies.
- 6 to 8 years development experience.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS
- Experience in Angular with Typescript (Essential)
- Experience with at least Jest / Mocha / Jasmine.
- Experience with Playwright.
- Experience with CSS preprocessors (SASS).
- Experience with document database (Document DB / MongoDB).
- Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter
ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS
- Experience with Angular Internationalization.
- Experience with Angular OIDC.
- Experience with AWS Amplify.
- Experience with Java 11 and JavaEE.
- Knowledge of Quarkus framework.
- Working knowledge of AWS Cloud Architecture.
- Experience with Kubernetes (AWS EKS).
- Experience using Kafka.
- RESTful APIs.
- Knowledge of design patterns.
- Databases/SQL (PostgreSQL advantageous).
- NoSQL (Elasticsearch advantageous).
- Unit testing tools (Junit/Mockito/etc.).
- ORM tools (Hibernate advantageous)..
- Kibana.
- Grafana.
- Terraform.
- Helm.
- Husky.
- Agile development methodologies.
- Confluence / Jira knowledge and working experience.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
ROLE:
- We are seeking a talented and motivated Frontend Angular Developer to join our dynamic Remarketing team.
- The ideal candidate needs to have a strong background in both frontend and backend development with a strong focus on Angular and Java technologies.
- You will be responsible for designing developing and maintaining web applications that provide an exceptional user experience.
- Development and maintenance on platform / application.
- Meet with end users and gather requirements.
- Participate in SCRUM ceremonies.
- Propose and review system design and evaluate alternatives.
- Review and present to Product Owners.
- Develop systems solutions in line with quality and delivery requirements.
- Preparation of system/technical documentation (as per ISO standards).
- User training.
- System testing/parallel runs.
- System implementation.
- System audits/quality assurance
