Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyse business requirements to determine system configuration programming reporting security and role needs.
- Develop and implement SAPUI5based applications in SAP environments.
- Design and develop highquality software architectures and solutions aligned with SAP best practices.
- Perform thorough testing and debugging to ensure the stability and efficiency of SAP applications.
- Develop maintain and optimize oData services for seamless integration with SAP systems.
- Collaborate with functional teams to provide technical expertise and support in SAP implementation and enhancement projects.
- Ensure compliance with SAP development standards security protocols and quality assurance guidelines.
- Provide technical documentation training and support to stakeholders as needed.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
Mandatory Requirements:
- SAP Developer Certification (specific to relevant development areas).
- Minimum 8 years of handson SAP development experience.
- Strong proficiency in SAPUI5 development and oData services.
Preferred Requirements:
- Extensive experience in SAP S/4HANA development and architecture.
- Prior work experience with the City of Cape Town is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of and experience in online applications will be advantageous.
- It is strongly recommended that the candidate resides in Cape Town.

- Expertise in SAP development tools methodologies and frameworks.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills to translate business needs into technical solutions.
- Proficient in software design development testing and debugging.
- Excellent understanding of SAP security roles authorizations and best practices.
- Ability to work effectively in crossfunctional teams and collaborate with business stakeholders.
- Strong communication and documentation skills to convey technical concepts clearly.
