Job Description

Responsible for the implementation administration interpretation and enforcement of environmental requirements including Plant Corporate Local State and Federal regulations. Maintain environmental standards based on risk/hazard analysis to meet regulatory requirements and management systems (ISO 14001). Provide technical assistance with various plant staff functions.

  • Support and drive sustainability and environmental culture at facility
  • Maintain and drive environmental permits and programs such as Stormwater SPCC Air Permitting ISO14001 Hazardous Waste Management Universal Waste
  • Develop/revise environmental related policies/procedures for the plant and drive implementation
  • Develop environmental communication including training alerts and production review meetings
  • Interact with state and federal agencies and consultants to ensure compliance with SC DPC regulations
  • Conduct hazard assessments of equipment/jobs to ensure they meet all applicable requirements in regards to environmental
  • Assist/lead change management tasks and conduct machine release inspections
  • Assist and lead environmental audits of key program areas to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and Bosch Norms
  • Lead/take part in Incident Investigation facilitating root cause analysis and proper corrective and preventative actions in regards to environmental incidents
  • Participate in/lead plant emergency response teams 

Qualifications :

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree
  • 3 years of environmental experience in a manufacturing/industrial environment
  • Technical experience with overseeing topics such as Air Permitting SPCC Stormwater Hazardous Waste Management
  • 2 years of MS Office experience to include Excel and Word
  • Valid drivers license

Preferred Qualifications:

  • B.S. in Engineering Sciences Occupational Safety Environmental or other related field 
  • Knowledge of Safety and Environmental Management Systems (ISO 14001 and ISO 45001)


Additional Information :

Indefinite U.S. work authorized individuals only.  Future sponsorship for work authorization unavailable.

Salary Range: The U.S. base salary range for this fulltime position is between $60000$75000 annually. 

Within the range individual pay is determined based on several factors including but not limited to work experience and job knowledge complexity of the role job location etc.
