Job Description

Job Title: Transportation Sales Representative
Location: OFallon MO (Missouri Territory Coverage)

Job Overview:

We are looking for a resultsdriven Transportation Sales Representative with expertise in trailer leasing sales and truckload freight sales. This role focuses on expanding the trailer leasing business and growing truckload freight volume within Missouri particularly within a 100mile radius of St. Louis MO. The ideal candidate has experience leasing dry van trailers to manufacturers and distribution facilities while securing full truckload freight opportunities to drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Trailer Leasing Sales Identify and secure businesses in need of onsite storage trailers or shortterm rental solutions.
  • Truckload Freight Sales Develop and expand a customer base for dry van full truckload services across the Midwest.
  • New Business Development Prospect cold call and network with manufacturers distributors and logistics companies.
  • Account Management Maintain and grow relationships with both new and existing customers.
  • Market Analysis Stay informed on industry trends customer demands and competitor activity to identify growth opportunities.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Experience: 3 years in trailer leasing sales truckload freight brokerage or transportation sales.
  • Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of freight lanes trailer leasing models and contract negotiations.
  • Sales Skills: Proven ability to negotiate close deals and build longterm relationships.
  • SelfStarter: Ability to work independently manage a pipeline and achieve aggressive sales targets.
  • Location: Must be based in or willing to cover the Missouri market particularly St. Louis and surrounding regions.
