Job Description

As Senior Manager Visa Commercial Solutions (VCS) North America Product you will be part of the VCS North America Product Team providing payment and valueadded services to our clients. In this role you will be responsible for launching implementing and improving data quality initiatives on business and commercial card transactions in conjunction with internal Visa teams. The role will expand to cover virtual card and other data initiatives over time. Interaction with crossfunctional groups within Visa and our Issuers Acquirers Processors and Merchants will be a key part of this role as well as collaborating with necessary VCS product owners. This role will ultimately focus on client engagement and delivery to ensure program requirements and standards are understood and implemented by critical stakeholders throughout the payment ecosystem in the United States.

 

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 23 set days a week (determined by leadership/site) with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.


Qualifications :

Basic Qualifications
8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters MBA JD MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications
9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters MBA JD MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
Deep understanding of payment systems (card networks ACH RTP digital wallets)
Proven experience in launching new solutions and solving business problems for client entities
Experienced with online and digital products that support Commercial Cards ACH RealTime Payments CrossBorder Payments and/or other emerging payments rails
Proven experience in all aspects of product management and the ability to lead strategic to tactical discussions as well as bridge business and technical teams
Deep understanding of payment systems (card networks ACH RTP digital wallets)
Experience with payment network banks payment processors or financial technology software providers is a plus
Strong analytical skills with experience conducting data research developing hypotheses based on unstructured data validate the hypothesis and provide recommendations
Effective communication skills storytelling strong presentation skills executive presence and ability to explain complex business and technical concepts to broad audiences and Csuite individuals in an engaging way
Detail oriented and highly execution focused by working in conjunction with various counterparts across multiple functional groups
Excellent collaboration skills and ability to work internally across business technology and delivery teams and externally with clients and other stakeholders
Ability to quickly learn about the internal Visa solutions processes culture leadership principles and how it all works together and embrace changes in an ecosystem that is rapidly evolving
Ability to manage and coordinate across complex crossfunctional teams including technical and nontechnical resources
Strong resultsoriented contributor analytic and factbased consultative discipline demonstrating a growth mindset
Adds value to customers by insightful and thoughtful questioning offering new ideas and delivering solutions
Team oriented collaborative diplomatic and flexible


Additional Information :

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 510% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk communicate in person and by telephone frequently operate standard office equipment such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 159100.00 to 230900.00 USD per year which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on jobrelated factors which may include knowledge skills experience and location. In addition this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical Dental Vision 401 (k) FSA/HSA Life Insurance Paid Time Off and Wellness Program.
