The Glass Jar Inc. is seeking another incredible and dynamic leader to join our management team!
The Glass Jar Inc. includes The Penny Ice Creamery and The Picnic Basket. The Glass Jar was founded in Santa Cruz CA in 2010 with a focus on made from scratch deliciousness locally sourced ingredients and community. We are a restaurant management group that currently owns and operates seven locations across Santa Cruz County and Santa Clara County.
This position leads inspires coordinates and manages a team of up to 20 hardworking individuals and oversees and manages operations as directed.
This position ensures the highest quality of customer service and products upholding and modeling our standards of excellence. This person strategically executes the requirements of this position through agreed upon and defined goals and objectives. They ensure profitability by maintaining a firstclass customer experience while balancing variable and operational costs. They work closely with/ report to/ are a part of our Glass Jar Management Team and they work collaboratively in the space to best ensure a quality guest experience from greeting to goodbye.
Every Manager in our organization maintains a regular presence at their respective location(s) to ensure successful implementation of strategic initiatives and upkeep of brand standards. They bring their passion for guiding coaching and mentoring each day to inspire our teams and continuously generate peak performance across the board. They reinforce and contribute to our culture of excellence growth and accountability. This position builds and nurtures vital relationships with team members vendors patrons and the surrounding community.
The ideal candidate for this role possesses a penchant for leadership and an orientation for hospitality. They are a skilled critical thinker and they demonstrate a proficiency in planning execution and followthrough. They are highly organized and they maintain a professional presence at all times.

Requirements
Qualifications Include:
Ability to work 40 hours a week consistently.
Ability to work during the week weekends and holidays.
Skills in creative and rational problem solving and prioritization.
Demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills; effective leadership that aligns with our work culture.
Demonstrated success and desire to work in and lead a fast paced handson environment in the hospitality/food/service industry.
An aptitude for logistics coordination multitasking and project management.
Management experience in a food service establishment.
Reliable transportation.
Ability to give and receive feedback professionally; other competencies include emotional intelligence active listening compassion reflection teamwork and adaptability.
