Mission:
Currently from this companywe are looking for aPackaging Development Project Manager this role will be based in Milan or Paris.This role reports to the Global Packaging Development & Quality Director.
Within the product development team the Project Manager Packaging Development is responsible for thedevelopment of new products according to the brands standards in terms of quality costs and deadlines and incompliance with the regulations in force. She/He is responsible for the smooth running of projects to ensure thelaunch date of our products.
Job description:
- You provide packaging technical expertise to Marketing during the creation phase and assess the technicalfeasibility of new projects.
- You initiate the development schedule for new projects define the specifications and brief to the suppliers.
- You ensure the capability of the supplier on the basis of social and environmental criteria production capacityquality level and leadtimes in collaboration with Procurement Team.
- You monitor suppliers you ensure that development deadlines and ensure that quality complies to standardsdefined by the brand (Std approval range of defects range of shades etc.).
- You integrate the technical constraints of industrialisation during product design phase.
- You support Procurement Team to carry out COG studies and project tooling budget evaluation
- You analyse potential risks with the project team propose backup solutions and activate associated actionplans.
- You keep a proactive monitoring regarding marketing and technical innovations in order to propose innovativesolutions.
You maintain all the reporting tools necessary for project monitoring: KPI dashboard projects monitoring andraise alerts / to have your manager arbitrate.
Requirements:
- Experience of at least 3 years in similar positions in the cosmetic industry or similarwould be a plus.
- Indepth knowledge of the Office package.
- Fluent in English.
- Availability to travel.
- Flexibility and ability to interface with various internal and external interlocutors good communication skills open to new challenges relationship and negotiation skills
