Job Description

Job Title: Home Manager
Location: Wimbledon House Herne Bay
Salary: Competitive based on experience
Hours: Fulltime

About the Home:
Wimbledon House is a distinguished care home located in the heart of Herne Bay providing exceptional residential and specialist care services. With a reputation for excellence our client prides itself on fostering a warm supportive and inclusive environment for both our residents and staff.

The Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Home Manager to lead Wimbledon House with passion vision and compassion. As the Home Manager you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standard of care creating a welcoming and safe environment and driving the overall operational and financial success of the home.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the daytoday operations of Wimbledon House ensuring compliance with all regulatory and legislative standards.
  • Inspire mentor and support a diverse team of care professionals fostering a culture of respect and collaboration.
  • Develop and implement strategies to deliver outstanding care tailored to individual resident needs.
  • Oversee budgets and financial performance ensuring sustainable operations.
  • Build strong relationships with residents families and external stakeholders maintaining trust and open communication.
  • Continuously monitor and improve quality standards to achieve and maintain an exceptional rating with regulatory bodies.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Proven experience in a managerial role within a care home or similar setting.
  • A deep understanding of CQC regulations and best practices in residential care.
  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and empower staff.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
  • A compassionate and residentcentred approach to care delivery.
  • Relevant qualifications in health and social care (e.g. NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management or equivalent).
