Job Description
Position Certified Coder (Remote)
Facility Parkland Health
Address 5200 Harry Hines Blvd Dallas TX 75235
Contract 13 weeks (with a high chance of extension)
Shift 8a5p CST
Rate 30/hr
Requirements
AAPC certificate required; MUST be CPC CPCH and/or COC
2 years of coding experience in Hospital setting ranging from ED Surgery Trauma Psych including telehealth
must be able to handle HIGH Volume of cases
Hospital experience
knowledgeable in ICD9/ICD10CM/PCS CPT4/HCPCS HCC and HEDIS CAT II E/M coding
knowledge & proficiency of EPIC EHR and 3M 360 coding is encouraged
ability to assign CPT codes
must have graduated from an approved coding program or health information management program
