Job Description
One of our client in GTA ON is looking for Maintenance Millwright for their facility.
Shift: Days or Afternoon
Pay rate: $40/hr $44/hr
Responsibilities:
- Carry out assigned preventive maintenance tasks on all equipment and machinery throughout the plant and yards ensuring alignment with daily production needs.
- Diagnose and repair equipment machinery and infrastructure breakdowns.
- Troubleshoot issues with yard equipment and processing lines to ensure seamless operations.
- Maintain and service hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
- Fabricate parts and equipment as per provided instructions or blueprints.
- Install and commission new machinery to support plant operations.
- Perform welding repairs on equipment as needed.
Qualifications:
- A Certificate of Qualification in Industrial Mechanic/Millwright (433A or 426A)
- Completion of a Millwright Apprenticeship with relevant work experience or a minimum of 3 years of experience as a licensed Millwright.
- Strong understanding of pneumatic and hydraulic systems with fabrication skills to support plant equipment maintenance and repairs.
- Proficiency in stick and TIG welding in multiple positions is required; MIG welding experience is considered an asset.
- Must possess a valid G license.
