Job Description

The Georgia Department of Human Services (DHS) Office ofInformation Technology is seeking a qualified candidate for a contractorstaffing position for a Senior Java and Boomi Developeron Georgia s Child Welfare technical team in Atlanta Georgia.

Java Key Responsibilities

Develop and maintain Javabased applications using core Java and advanced Java (Java 17).
Design and implement microservices using Spring Boot and other relevant frameworks.
Build and consume RESTful APIs and web services.
Integrate with databases ensuring performance optimization (e.g. SQL databases like PostgreSQL Oracle).
Writeunit and integration tests using JUnit TestNG Mockito or othertesting frameworks.

DevelopSQL queries and analyze data to support application development andproduction issues.

Implementobjectoriented design principles and patterns for scalable andmaintainable codebases.

Ensureadherence to clean code principles and write reusable modular code.

Troubleshoot and debug Java applications ensuring optimalperformance and security.

Participatein code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.

FollowAgile methodologies (Scrum) and participate in sprints daily standups.

Useversion control systems like GitHub for source code management.

Implementand manage CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.

Collaboratewith DevOps teams for cloud deployment and infrastructure management(AWS).

Designconfigure and implement Spring Batch jobs for processing large datasetsand scheduling tasks.

Implementdynamic web pages and views using JSP (Java Server Pages).

Designand implement authentication and authorization mechanisms using Key Cloakfor identity and access management ensuring secure communication through OAuth2.0 and JWT tokens.

LeverageSAML/SSO integration for single signon and authentication.

Proficiency in Postgres PL/SQL and Oracle database technologies.

Strong knowledge on Message oriented middlewareconcepts including different Messaging styles (Asynchronous pubsub)Messaging APIs (JMS STOMP AMQP REST)

Strong working experience designing event drivenarchitecture Kafka RabbitMQ/ActiveMQ infrastructure for various environments(Dev Test Prod etc.)

Working experience with Java Spring MVC SpringBoot Spring Batch and Microservices (API) and Oracle RDS SQL.

Experience building continuous delivery (DevOps)pipelines for Jenkins Kafka RabbitMQ/ActiveMQ components.

Boomi Key Responsibilities

5 Years of experience in Enterprise Integration Patternsand Enterprise application architecture (Designing Building and DeployingMessaging Solutions).

Strong handson experience in Boomi Processbuilding & deployment API management alert framework/exception handlingconnectors/listeners and integration packs usage.

Experience in Cloud Integration using Dell Boomi

Strong understanding of SOA principles andimplementation Integration knowledge

Familiar and experienced with technologies of the majorIntegration platforms.

Strong experience with building integrations with Dell Boomi.

Must be familiar with API and Microservicesand other Opensource integration related technologies.

Strong experience on APIs Design and Development (RAMLREST SOAP)

Certification in Middleware Platforms (IntegrationProfessional Solution Design Specialist).

Understanding of Development Methodologies (Agile)Estimation Techniques.

Hands on experience in setting up Boomi environments andconfigurations preferably for Boomi on AWS

Handson experience in troubleshooting SFDCconnectors/listeners Database Connectors and Web servicesConnectors/Listener complex scripts (Java or Groovy scripts)process/ subprocesses interdependencies and scheduled data jobs

Thorough understanding of REST SOAP Web services andAPI Communication protocols S/FTP/S HTTP/S File I/O etc.

Ability to understand and document the upstream anddownstream dependencies of Boomi APIs

Strong experience with enterprise application security (API/Messaging)and Boomi code vulnerabilities

Knowledge of Boomi Process building developmentand good understanding of various data formats XML JSON CSV Databaseis an addon.

Boomi platform governance connector license managementand continuous platform improvements.
