• Contract Length: 4 months (opportunity for extension)

Summary:

• Lead the design analysis and development of mechanical systems for advanced aircraft.

• This is a nonmanagerial role requiring a strong work ethic excellent communication skills and the ability to excel in a fastpaced researchfocused environment.

• Design and analyze mechanical systems mechanisms and components for large cargo experimental or test aircraft.

• Manage functional and physical interfaces between hydraulic system routing and the vehicle.

• Facilitate communication of system designs requirements and performance with internal teams management customers subcontractors and vendors.

Required Skills:

• B.S. in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering (or related STEM discipline) with 7 years of relevant experience (or equivalent education/experience).

• Proven experience in the design and analysis of mechanical systems for large cargo experimental or test aircraft.

• Proficiency in CATIA V5.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Regular and predictable attendance is required.

Desired Skills:

• Experience with preliminary design of mechanical systems and components.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

• Expertise in designing and analyzing complex mechanisms.

• Familiarity with systems engineering processes including requirements development system safety analysis and reliability analysis.
