Oaks Cypress Lakes Resort is currently seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Housekeeping Manager to join our team.
As part of Minor Hotels Australasia which boasts a portfolio of over 65 properties across Australia and New Zealand we are expanding rapidly and are committed to maintaining exceptional standards of service. We are looking for a skilled and resultsdriven Housekeeping Manager to lead and inspire our housekeeping team at one of our largest and most prestigious properties Oaks Cypress Lakes Resort.
This is an exciting opportunity for an accomplished professional to play a key role in upholding the resorts high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Ensure a high standard of cleanliness is evident throughout the property in Housekeeping (in rooms public and common areas)
- Build a productive and professional relationship with Housekeepers staff members Housekeepers clients and all contractor personal
- Lead and manage the housekeeping team to consistently deliver exceptional cleaning services that exceed guest expectations
- Oversee and facilitate daily onthejob training for all housekeeping staff ensuring continuous skill development and adherence to high standards.
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate records related to finances maintenance and inventory ensuring efficient operational management.
- Spearhead the recruitment process for the housekeeping team ensuring the selection of qualified and capable candidates who align with organizational standards and values.
Qualifications :
- Minimum 3 years experience in Housekeeping Management with a strong track record of leading and managing housekeeping teams effectively.
- Exceptional people management skills with the ability to motivate train and develop team members to achieve optimal performance.
- Extensive experience in controlling and managing departmental budgets including the procurement inventory and replenishment of operating supplies replacements and consumables.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills fostering positive relationships with staff guests and other departments.
- Highly developed time management and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
- A keen eye for detail ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness are maintained throughout the property while consistently adhering to procedures and safety guidelines.
- Ability to establish and enforce cleanliness standards leading by example to ensure consistent and exceptional guest experiences.
- Strong problemsolving abilities with a proactive approach to addressing challenges and implementing continuous improvements.
