Job Description
- Administration of Windows Server operating systems and services.
- Providing 2nd line support and coordinating with 3rd line of support.
- Problem definition analysis and resolution: diagnosis of software and hardware problems.
- Collaborating closely with other teams in the Digital Unit (infra networks IAM Cybersecurity etc.)
- Developing and implementing best practices for Windows services and processes.
- Creating and maintaining documentation for operational processes procedures and configurations.
- Supporting development teams across our growing development UAT and production environments in the Windows services and processes.
- Handle all other duties as assigned by the clients Contract Manager.
Qualifications :
- Bachelors degree in Software Engineering
- Minimum 5 years experience as a Microsoft Windows Administrator versions 2016 or higher
- Minimum 4 years experience with cloud services such as Microsoft Azure and hybrid Cloud
integration. - A valid Microsoft certification confirming experience with Windows Server solutions.
- A valid Microsoft certification confirming experience with Windows Azure cloud solution.
- Works unassisted and guides junior staff.
- Writes specifications concept documents end user and technical documentation; communicates
effectively with stakeholders on technical and user requirements matters - Good knowledge of Windows services such as AD DFS RDS and GPO.
- Good knowledge of network protocols: SMTP NTP DNS LDAP DHCP PKI/CA
- Handson experience in networking security and system services for MS Windows Server OS
- Exposure to virtualized infrastructure such as Vmware ESXi or Nutanix 66.
- Experience in ticketing systems (such as ServiceNow) and ITILbased change management
configuration management and release management processes. - Strong scripting and automation skills with proficiency in automating Windows Server and tasks
simplification (Powershell). - Serviceoriented attitude.
- Welldeveloped interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and on multiple tasks
- Sense of initiative and responsibility for the assigned areas of work
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
