Reporting to the Team Leader Operational Procurement Middle East Africa & Asia Pacific this role requires an enthusiastic individual who is a strong communicator and has extensive experience in operational procurement.
You will be responsible for:
- Handling daily purchase requirements
- Ensuring compliance throughout the full P2P process according to Global PCM guidelines
- Coordinating promptly with internal and external stakeholders ensuring adherence to established procurement policies and processes
- Aligning with the goals and objectives set by business requirements
- Working with stakeholders to assess demand and scheduling
- Following up regularly on orders to expedite and ensure timely deliveries managing rescheduling as necessary
- Carrying out RFIs/RFQs and make meaningful comparisons suggesting the best recommendations
- Collaborating closely with members of the strategic procurement team to develop and implement P2P initiatives that reduce transaction costs consolidate volume and create efficiencies
- Managing and resolving complaints and claims
- Maintaining the Master Data Base
- Assisting with the preparation of new vendor registrations
- Uploading all new vendor documentation successfully into the system
- Performing any other duties or tasks assigned by your superior
Qualifications :
- Bachelors Degree in Purchasing Quantity Surveying and/or related disciplines
- Minimum three years of experience in operational procurement
- Proven experience in customer service and procurement with a demonstrated ability to resolve complex situations and order fulfillment issues
- Solid understanding of the purchasetopay process
- Proficient in MS Excel Word and Outlook
- Knowledge of SAP/R3Ariba system is highly desirable
- Technical expertise to recognize and identify similar products
- Excellent command of English
- Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build relationships and networks with all stakeholders
- Strong collaborative abilities a positive attitude and high energy
- Outstanding analytical and communication skills
