We are seeking an experienced and proactive Kafka Engineer to join our clients dynamic team. In this role you will be responsible for designing implementing and maintaining the Kafka platform ensuring its scalability operational stability and seamless integration with other development teams. You will also play a key role in improving deployment procedures monitoring systems and supporting the organization in utilizing the Kafka platform effectively.

Key responsibilities:

• Platform Design & Maintenance: Design implement and maintain the Kafka platform ensuring high availability performance and scalability.
• Monitoring & Optimization: Develop tools and procedures for monitoring logging and optimizing the Kafka environment to ensure smooth operation.
• Collaboration & DDD: Collaborate with development teams to implement DomainDriven Design (DDD) within the Kafka ecosystem.
• Documentation & Support: Prepare clear documentation for Kafkarelated processes and provide support for the organization in utilizing the platform effectively.
• Operational Stability: Ensure the Kafka platform is stable reliable and optimized for operational performance.
• Continuous Improvement: Contribute to continuous improvements in deployment processes and CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and streamlined delivery.

We are happy to hear from you if you have:

• Handson experience with Apache Kafka including running and maintaining Kafka clusters.
• Proficiency in Java Spring Boot and familiarity with OpenShift Kubernetes and Helm for containerized environments.
• Knowledge of CI/CD processes and tools to support efficient deployments.
• Software Engineering Background: Solid background in IT and software engineering with a strong understanding of best practices for system design and architecture.
• Kafka Platform Experience: Prior experience in managing and scaling Kafka platforms or event streaming applications.
• Proven experience working within Agile development teams and practices.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to troubleshoot optimize and streamline complex systems.
• Fluent English communication skills both written and verbal with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
