Are you ready to make a significant impact in the financial landscape Were looking for a talented Senior COBOL Developer to help transform our clients archive platform.As part of the Core Banking Domain in the Engineering Platforms division youll lead the migration of their existing archive platform to a new SaaS model.Collaborate with a dynamic team of Business Analysts QA Consultants Software Developers and Team Architects to build innovative Business Solutions. If youre passionate about Mainframe Development and want to contribute to our clients success we want to hear from you!
Start your day with the flexible morning hours and:
- Write welldesigned testable efficient code to support varied and complex IT solutions that fulfil the requirements of our customer.
- Be able to design the architecture of a solution and drive the development.
- Engage directly with customers to develop a better understanding of their needs.
- Have knowledge with Agile methodologies such as Scrum to ensure an iterative and adaptive approach to development.
- Prepare technical and procedural documentation associated with IT development.
- Collaborate with the Product Owner and other teams across the organization to ensure the best possible solutions for incoming business requirements.
- Master execution of changes in current system (DB2)
We are happy to hear from you if you have:
- Min. 5 years of relevant experience in Cobol CICS DB2 JCL SQL IDz/RDz Erwin and a positive approach towards Unit testing.
- English at a high level both in writing and orally working in teams in Denmark and Poland
- Nice to have:
- Familiarity with Git/BitBucket JIRA API Java Kafka.
- Experience of working in the financial sector
- Proven project management skills running IT projects.
- Problem Management. Conducting various analysis such as root cause or pareto to finding the source of a problem.
