Job Description
Team Summary:
The Risk and Identity Solutions (RaIS) team provides risk management services for banks merchants and other payment networks. Machine learning and AI models are the heart of the realtime insights used by our clients to manage risk. Created by the Visa Predictive Models (VPM) team continual improvement and efficient deployment of these models is essential for our future success. To support our rapidly growing suite of predictive models we are looking for engineers who are passionate about managing large volumes of data creating efficient automated processes and standardizing ML/AI tools.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 23 set days a week (determined by leadership/site) with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications :
Basic Qualifications:
3 or more years of work experience with a bachelors degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. masters in technology)
Preferred Qualifications:
Proficiency in scripting and automation skills converting manual and maintenance functions into fully orchestrated automation.
Working on AWS environment is must.
Strong experience using programming languages like Python or Golang or Java or Kotlin etc with the ability to lead through ambiguity while partnering across organizations.
Expertise in frontend technologies including JavaScript CSS3 and HTML5 and thirdparty libraries such as ReactJS Angular jQuery and Less.js.
Experience with databases (e.g. MongoDB) web servers (e.g. Apache) and UI/UX design.
Understanding of network systems storage compute operations and ITSM processes.
Strong verbal and written communications skills ability to quickly master new systems and/or processes capacity to stay organized while managing competing priorities.
Demonstrated understanding of systems applications monitoring solutions and operational characteristics of highly available and scalable systems.
Should have hands on and good understanding on Release Engineering &
Devops tools.
Responsible for CI/ CD process and issues with respect to release engineering.
Proficient in one or more scripting languages is a plus: Unix Shell Perl
