Operations Manager
Location: Midlands field based across site and home
Salary: Competitive
Contract Type: Permanent
Working Hours: 40 hours per week MondayFriday
Were seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead and oversee part of our Utility Arb operations across the Midlands. This pivotal role involves managing and inspiring teams to deliver exceptional services to our clients.
What youll do:
Youll have the autonomy to drive efficiencies ensure service excellence and contribute to our mission of sustainable operations. This role requires an experienced professional who thrives in a dynamic environment has strong leadership skills and extensive operations management experience.
Key Responsibilities;
- Oversee and manage the delivery of Utility Arb services across the region.
- Assisting SOM on programme delivery and planning of the East Midlands Maintenance programmes.
- Lead motivate and develop fieldbased teams to achieve high standards of performance.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients ensuring satisfaction and retention particularly with commercial clients in a fastpaced challenging environment.
- Collaborate with operational and support teams to optimize service delivery and drive continuous improvement
- Create business development opportunities through existing and new clients.
- Monitor and manage financial performance including full P&L responsibility.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies.
This role is field based with a mix of being out on site in the field working from home and attending client meetings.
What were looking for:
This role is perfect for a passionate and experienced Senior leader with a strong background in operations management within a service industry. Any experience in Arboriculture or Horticulture is great but definitely not an essential.
Whatever your current role you will need
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage and inspire teams in a fieldbased environment.
- Commercial Acumen: Strong business sense with the ability to manage budgets and drive financial performance.
- P&L Experience: Demonstrated success in managing profit and loss responsibilities.
- Client Management: Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with highly commercial clients operating effectively in challenging environments.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results.
- Driving License: A full clean driving license is essential due to the fieldbased nature of the role.
