Job Description: We are seeking a talented and driven DevOps Engineer to join our onsite technology team in Trivandrum Kerala. As a DevOps Engineer you will be responsible for managing and optimizing the infrastructure that powers our platform ensuring high availability security and scalability. You will collaborate with crossfunctional teams to automate processes streamline CI/CD pipelines and ensure smooth deployment across various environments.
**Key Responsibilities:**
Design implement and maintain scalable infrastructure using cloud platforms like AWS Digital Ocean or Google Cloud.
Automate infrastructure provisioning and manage configuration management using infrastructureascode tools like Terraform.
Build manage and optimize continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using **Jenkins**. –
Collaborate with development product and QA teams to enhance system performance deployment processes and incident response times.
Monitor system health and performance using tools such as Prometheus Grafana and Cloudspecific monitoring tools (e.g. AWS CloudWatch).
Manage and optimize container orchestration platforms (Docker Kubernetes) to ensure efficient application delivery.
Implement security best practices across infrastructure including patch management vulnerability scanning and access control.
Troubleshoot and resolve production issues to ensure minimal downtime and disruption to services.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science Information Technology or related field or equivalent practical experience.
Minimum of 4 years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or in a similar role.
Proven experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS Digital Ocean or Google Cloud. Expertise in Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline management.
Proficiency with infrastructureascode tools like Terraform.
Strong knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker) and container orchestration (Kubernetes).
Strong scripting skills in Python Bash or similar.
Knowledge of networking system monitoring and security best practices. Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
Experience with serverless architectures and microservices. Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as ELK Stack Datadog or Splunk.
Knowledge of database management and performance tuning (MySQL PostgreSQL or NoSQL).
Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible Chef or Puppet.
