Job Description
This is a remote position.
We are seeking a Backend Engineer (Node.js) to join our team.
Responsibilities:
Develop robust serverside applications and APIs for healthtech solutions.
Manage data operations and oversee development activities with offshore teams.
Design develop and deploy serverside logic using modern backend technologies.
Build and maintain RESTful APIs and microservices.
Develop and manage database queries and optimize performance.
Work with AWS and GCP services for backend infrastructure.
Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with data governance standards.
Collaborate with frontend DevOps and product teams for feature development.
Requirements
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field.
Strong experience in backend programming languages like Java and Node.js.
Proficient in database management with PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
Experience in developing and deploying RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
Handson experience with cloud platforms particularly AWS (Beanstalk Amplify) and GCP.
Familiarity with HIPAA and HITRUST compliance as well as general data governance principles is highly preferred.
Excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to analyze and resolve complex backend issues.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments using version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines.
Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively in a crossfunctional team environment.
