Job Description
About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and detailoriented General Inspector to join our client based in Sarawak. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring compliance with quality standards regulatory requirements and company policies across various operational and production processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct inspections on materials equipment and work processes to ensure compliance with established standards.
- Perform quality checks during production assembly or construction stages.
- Identify document and report nonconformances or discrepancies in materials or processes.
- Recommend corrective actions and follow up on their implementation.
- Maintain accurate and detailed inspection records and reports.
- Collaborate with the quality control team to establish inspection protocols.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and best practices during inspections.
- Conduct audits to evaluate the effectiveness of quality management systems.
- Stay updated on relevant industry standards and inspection techniques.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree or certification in a related field is an advantage.
- Proven experience in inspection quality control or a related role.
- Strong knowledge of industry standards and regulatory requirements.
- Attention to detail with excellent problemsolving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents blueprints and specifications.
- Proficient in using inspection tools and equipment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work in a teamoriented environment.
