The 3rd Party Licensing & Sponsor Bank Program Development Manager is responsible for developing and operationalizing a program for managing and supporting novel bank charters eligible for Visa principal licenses as well as programs to support improved ecosystem risk management across 3rd parties and Sponsor Banks. This includes:
- Act as the primary interface with the NA Sales Legal Client Services and Risk teams operationalizing a robust scalable program to support a portfolio of 3rd parties and fintechs to pursue network access through alternative licenses in the US market.
- Act as the business owner for the MALPB charter and program including overseeing the successful conclusion of the limited release period and driving the process and decision points to move to general availability.
- Drive program development for network access and establish frameworks for new initiatives onboarding and implementation.
- Map and build an operational process to support existing as well as new 3rd parties and fintechs seeking alternative licenses including but not limited to partnering with cross functional teams to deliver services.
- Optimize sales engagement across client segments including establishing metrics for tracking and measurement of key results.
- Identify new commercial constructs to increase participation in market to reduce concentration risk.
- Drive assessment and operationalization of any alternative licensing programs.
Principal Responsibilities/Key Results Areas
- Partner closely with the NA Sales (Account Teams & Enablement) Legal Client Services and the Risk teams to design and operationalize 3rd Party Licensing Program.
- Own the MALPB program providing subject matter expertise managing client pipeline and volume/revenue forecasts developing and owning all program artifacts engaging with external stakeholders as needed.
- Manage endtoend process to stand up new programs for additional alternative license programs from program design to commercial frameworks to operational processes.
- Engage and align diverse internal stakeholders to ensure successful program launch and scalable operations.
- Establish and refine commercial frameworks for the Sponsorship ecosystem to increase diversification in the Sponsor Bank segment and resilience in the ecosystem while enabling sustainable revenue growth.
- Proactively identifiy and solve complex problems that impact the management relationships and direction of the business.
- Establish clear objectives and key metrics to measure program performance.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 23 set days a week (determined by leadership/site) with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications :
Basic Qualifications:
- 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelors Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD
Preferred Qualifications:
- A minimum of 10 years of successful experience in progressive leadership roles in Product or Services in Payments or Technology industries with a priority on B2B B2B2C service models
- Bachelors degree or equivalent Graduate degree/MBA preferred.
- Functional experience in product and program management
- Success in managing projects across a matrixed global organization
- Proven ability to solve complex crossfunctional issues exercising critical thinking and sound judgment.
- Demonstrated ability to strategically lead cross functional/matrixed teams through high impact complex business issues that do not have precedent.
- Superior problem identification and solving skills with ability to communicate effectively with executive management
- Processoriented and ability to document processes with the ability to achieve the goals of multiple overlapping workstreams
- Excellent interpersonal and people management skills with ability to partner effectively with wide range of stakeholders

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.
Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 510% of the time.
Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting. The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk communicate in person and by telephone frequently operate standard office equipment such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 169100.00 to 245400.00 USD per year which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on jobrelated factors which may include knowledge skills experience and location. In addition this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
